NORTHERN VIRGINIA BRITTANY CLUB – SPRING 2008 FIELD TRIAL
MOTELS: All are approximately 20 minutes from the grounds.
ENTRIES: Phone and email entries will NOT be accepted. Entries will NOT be accepted prior to Monday, March 3, 2008.
Acceptance of entries for non-filled stakes and cancellations of entries will close at 6:00 PM., Tuesday, April 8, 2008. NO CHANGES WILL BE MADE AFTER the 6:00 PM cut-off.
NOTE: No dog will be drawn unless a completely filled entry is received before 6:00 PM Tuesday, April 8, 2008.
CAMPING: Permitted on grounds – no hook ups and no water for human consumption is available on the grounds.
THE GROUNDS MUST BE CLEARED IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE RUNNING ON SUNDAY.
FOOD: Lunch will be available from a local deli. Be sure to let the secretary know
early each day if you are interested in getting a sandwich for lunch. Awards will be held after the running on Saturday.
RESTROOMS: Clean restrooms will be available on the grounds.
HORSES: WRANGLER WITH RENTAL HORSES WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE.
Handlers must make own arrangements for horses. Foot handling is allowed.
DRAWING: To be held on Tuesday, April 8, 2008at 7:00 PM at the home of the Field Trial Secretary.
Running order may be obtained between 9:00 and 11:00 PM the night of the drawing at (540) 894-5826 or until 10:00 PM Thursday.
Blairs Valley Field Trial Association receives .50 cents per dog for grounds maintenance.
DIRECTIONS: From I-70 west of Hagerstown take Exit 18, MD 68W. Continue thru traffic light and bear right onto Broadfording road.
At the white barn turn left onto Blairs Valley Road. Follow this road to the lake on the left and then turn left at the first dirt road to the grounds.
